This is what I see many artists struggle with.

It's easy to get caught up in forever trying to improve your art in fear that you wouldn't really reach a greater potential anyway, sort of always avoiding what really matters to you anyway.

It's easy to get discouraged continuously by the artists that seem to overshadow you.

It's easy to just close in on yourself and choose to stop creating.

But really what should stop you from creating? From expressing?

I don't care if you're the nerdiest math nerd ever who sees expressing yourself as inferior or something, art is expression, and expression is a beautiful thing.

I'm a nerdy math hardcore-science nerd yet I've managed to tread in the awesomeness of what art can be and I surprise people with this all the time. But how should being a "nerdy math nerd" prevent me from exploring art even though a ton people view such a realm as incompatible with that of art? 

What is wrong with expressing yourself, in the most raw way that you can?

I know, it's hard, trying to deal with the great possibilities that your imagination can carry out.

And I know, it's hard, to express something,

especially if you happen to worry that not many people will watch on anyway and love what you have expressed.

But anyway, wouldn't you want to express your ideas to the fullest?

Without any restriction?

How wonderful is that,
that art can be a beacon for expressing?
A way of delving into the infinite possibilities of the mind
and then picking up the ideas
that matter to you

And loving the process

of breathing life to those ideas

I'm trying not to exaggerate

This is truly a wonderful thing
Realize the great power that you have, or can have

It's not scary
It's not bad
It's not wrong
To chase after the ideas that you like
and love
and care about the most
to the point you'd create it
to the point where you'd reach into the mind
and choose for it to enter this reality

Please
Don't ever worry
Don't ever doubt
And keep on creating
What matters to you
What appeals to you

Those ideas that you'd dream about
Those ideas that you're truly comfortable with

And they don't have to be majestic.
They really don't have to.

Unless you want them to, I mean.

They don't have to be elegant.

And you don't always have to base your worth on those artists who seem to have all these unfathomable details, concepts, etc. 

You don't always have to devise the greatest ideas ever or help solve the world's problems at the same time.

Just be glad.

For you have created something.

Just continue on chasing those ideas that you truly like.. it's that simple. 

Wouldn't you want to reflect on yourself, later on, and be glad that you chased after, and expressed those ideas you held dear to you?

Creation is beautiful

Expression is beautiful
In a world that needs more of it
Instead of forever being stagnant

And one of the best things you can do for yourself

Is open yourself up to the ideas you love

that can be

There's no need for wasting away not expressing those ideas that seem to attack against your mind, prying to reach to the outer world.

Don't express yourself in a way that you're not.

Yourself will thank you.
